Enable our European Representatives to increase their effectiveness

International Office
A brief description of your project:

After many months of seeking God, planning, and praying, we have felt the Lord growing an exciting new strategy for helping leaders live out the message of FIC for themselves so that they can take it to others. We’re calling it “Transform” – a 12-month journey using FICM resources to help leaders be grounded firmly in the Biblical principles of identity, freedom, and transformation.

Transform includes an ongoing weekly programme of learning, regular engagement with others, and two retreats, all the time having personal mentoring, support, and encouragement. You can see the brochure here.

Why is this needed?:

We want our own National Representatives to be among the first to experience Transform so that they can become more effective personally and also take it back to their own countries to train church leaders.

The first Transform course takes place in Europe and several of our European leaders and potential leaders have expressed an interest in being there – from countries such as the Czech Republic, Poland, and Switzerland. We also have interest from our team in the US and Africa.

In order to make it possible for our team to come, we need to raise £5,000 to contribute to the course costs and to travel and accommodation.

What difference will this make in people's lives?:

Steve Goss, International Director, says, “Sending our Representatives on Transform is like throwing a stone into a pond. The ripples will just keep going and going. I’m very excited about seeing our own team take the message even deeper themselves and being equipped to do the same with leaders in their own countries.”
